SSC MTS is a Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment examination for all the vacancies in SSC. Eligibility
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must not have attained the age of 28 years on the last date for submission of application. A person belonging to SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and PwD will be given a 30% relaxation as compared to OBC. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories should have a minimum of 55% marks in either Physics or Chemistry and 40% marks in Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics. Paper-I – A Computer Based Examination
This examination will be conducted for recruitment of Staff Nurse (Admin.) Posting in General Hospitals/Clinics/Paediatric wards/ Dispensary under all Nursing Section, Non-Paediatric, All India Quota. Candidates will have to appear in the Preliminary exam and Post Graduate examination. Candidates will have to score a minimum of 40 marks out of 50 in order to qualify for MTS (Service Selection Commission MTS) Examination of UPSC. Paper-II – a Descriptive Paper This descriptive paper will consist of two parts. The first part will be for general awareness/ knowledge in the area of Nursing and second will consist of aptitude based questions (already designed by UPSC). The final result of the descriptive paper will be out on the 27th of June 2019.
Paper-II – A Descriptive Paper
The Descriptive Paper consists of two sections – Language Ability Section and Reading Comprehension Section. Section I is a survey paper, which contains a total of 60 questions, which are divided into two sections- Language (20 questions), Comprehension (20 questions) and Validation of Examinations (20 questions). These questions are based on the information and explanation given in the paper-I paper. The questions on Validation of Examinations will help students to get more information on the concepts/concepts that they have not been able to grasp in the paper-I. The time duration for the Validation of Examinations is 20 minutes. The sections of the paper are: Section I: Language Subsection I – Reading Comprehension – Objectives and Provisions.
