KVS PRT Syllabus 2022- Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the KVS PRT Syllabus in Hindi PDF and the new exam pattern syllabus for the Primary Teacher Exam along with the official notification of the KVS PRT Exam. Kendriya Vidyalaya Primary Teacher Exam is scheduled to be held in 2023. What is KVS PRT?

The full form of KVS PRT is Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Primary Teacher. The primary teacher of Kendriya Vidyalaya is called KVS PRT in short. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan recruits primary-level (class one to five) teachers through KVS PRT Exam. Kendriya Vidyalaya Primary Teacher Examination is conducted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan itself.

Qualification for KVS PRT

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board.
  • The candidate must have done a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed or BTC) course from an NCTE-recognized institute.
  • Or have done a bachelor’s degree course (B.Ed) from a recognized university.
  • The candidate must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Exam).
  • For KVS PRT, it is mandatory to pass CTET Paper I.

Eligibility for KVS PRT

  • Applicants should be a citizen of India.
  • The candidate must have done a teacher training course in elementary education.
  • Candidates should have a D.El.Ed/BTC degree.
  • The candidate must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.
  • Must have a certificate of passing CTET Paper I.
  • The maximum age of the candidate should be 35 years.
  • Must know English and Hindi language.
  • The candidate should have knowledge of teaching in Hindi and English medium.

What is the salary of KVS PRT?

The salary of a Kendriya Vidyalaya primary teacher ranges from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 4 lakh per year. Salary keeps changing with experience. Initially, the monthly salary is Rs 25-30 thousand, but as experience increases, the salary also increases.

What is the exam pattern of KVS PRT?

  • Kendriya Vidyalaya PRT exam paper is in two parts, the first part has 70 questions, and the second part has 80 questions.
  • There are a total of 150 marks on the KVS PRT paper of 150 marks.
  • All questions are objective.
  • One mark is allotted for each question, and the total PRT paper is 150 marks.
  • Part I consists of General English, General Hindi, General Knowledge and Current Affairs and Reasoning, Computer and Pedagogy.
  • The subject is concerned in Part II.
  • The Subject Concerned section contains Social Science/Science and Mathematics subjects.
  • For Arts people it is SST; for science people, it is Science and Mathematics.

What is the maximum marks for KVS PRT exam?

KVS PRT written test has 180 marks split into sections. Another test after adds 60 marks. In total, it’s possible to get 240 marks for selection.

What is the passing marks for KVS PRT 2023?
